I get that but the pressure will be enormous right away. Look at what Thompson went through at Auburn last year, that was a NCAA tourney team.

Canizzaro hates Mainieri with a burning passion. I think he would leave at anytime for any job at this point.

I challenge you to find out otherwise. The players and staff are all well aware of it. He puts on the about face so he maintains his reputation. he's out of here if offered the job. one of the dudes that goes to the scrimmages and sits by the dugout with all the parents was saying that he heard from one of them that AC interviewed without telling mainieri but the players knew/know.

Curious as to what CPM has done to AC to make him hate him so much? CPM have AC a great opportunity to get into college coaching & as such, AC should be appreciative. But Game One of the P&G WS was tonite..so..was AC there?
