....Need to put down the crack pipe. Miles has absolutely no advantage over O. They are equal in recruiting, but O will keep out of the way of his coordinators. Miles offered no advantage at this point in his career. Accept it.

I thought we were shooting higher than Miles when we fired him. We were looking for someone with an offensive background. Instead, we get a 21-29 defensive line coach. How does that not have fail written all over it?

I wanted Miles gone and I don't want him back. I also didn't want a worse version of Miles to replace him.

LSU deserves better than either Miles or Odgeron.

Wettled for mediocrity at best instead of searching for a the best coach we could get.

As long as Alleva is here mediocre is all LSU will be for the near future.

Holy shite. Miles is the most successful coach in lsu. Ed orgeron wouldnt get coordinator offers at any major program. Good god.

bullshite. Les miles brought in top 25 classes at Oklahoma state when they were getting classes in 80's.

but O will keep out of the way of his coordinator

Its telling when one of your best arguments are the hc doesnt know what it takes to run a successful offense or defense.

Sure if you dont count actuallh running a successful offense and program as no advantage.
Les miles resume BEFORE LSU shits all over ed orgeron.

Ed orgeron is a 55 year old dline coach. If he had potential it wouldve surfaced by now. We just got a less proven version of les miles.

Can o keep what miles had going? That's a tough task by its self. Get a top 5 class this year, have a top ranked defence, win 9 or 10 games.

O has not hired a coach since Ole Miss (except Pete Jenkins). He is 11-4 as an interim head coach. He Is 4-3 versus ranked teams at his two stops. What makes you think he has potential?

COACH A
Great recruiter
Great motivator
Prostyle offense
Questionable game day coaching

COACH B
Great recruiter
Great motivator
Prostyle offense
Questionable game day coaching

COACH A has had 2 very successful hc stops along with being an offensive coordinator.

COACH B ,in 32 years, has never ran a successful offense, defense, or program.

But yeah i can see how coach b would be a great hire.

And he is 55 and been coaching for 32 years if he had potential he wouldve at least been hired at dc somewhere

I was glad Miles got fired, but how many Championships does O have? What is Coach O's head coaching record? I hope the man succeeds at LSU but he has a ways to go to be considered better than Miles.
