You know the ones they sell at the stadium for $20 bucks.

Waited three years to see if it was worth it, bought it and rarely works past the third quarter. Bought a new battery, still the same.

What's up with that? I have to turn it off and wait a few minutes. It then works for a few minutes and then dead. Of course, I am usually happy to turn off Hawthorne, but I want to hear Hultberg talk about injuries and sideline reports.

I bought one, mine didn't work either. I ended up talking to the guy selling them and he let me trade it for another one. Mine works fine now.

Take it back to them. I bought one last year adn it worked great. Then when I had to update it (for some reason) this year it didn't work. I complained adn they gave me a new one.

Mine works the whole game and have used the same battery all season including away games and post-game show sometimes,

My only problem is it keeps transmitting mistakes in the calls of the game. Interceptions when it is a completion. Wrong spots on teh yardlines. Wrong player has the ball or even in the game. I know its not Hawthorne's fault so it must be the darn radio messing up!

may be a dumb question, but do those radios work other than near the stadium where LSU is playing ? I noticed near me last week some Tide fans had their version and I wasn't sure if they may have picked it up through a frequency some teams have used in BR for LSU games.

Point is I'll be there tomorrow night but out of town traveling during the Ole Miss game unable to hear WWL in the day and was curious if this radio would do the trick.

I've been going to LSU games for a long time so I've always seen the guys with the radio headsets, but what's the point? If you are at the game, why are you wearing them? Just watch the game and you should know what's going on unless you just like listening to Hawthorne.

I have 2 ( one I bought from lsu & the other I bought at the superbowl) and they both still work great and at any stadium. I just put it on 105.3 for the dome. No issues or battery replacements yet.
