Herman should've taken the 7 figure raise Houston offered to him. He's going to fail at a bigger program. Period

Not sure how he will do. Jumping from UH to UT is a quantum leap.

What would be embarrassing would be losing to Memphis, SMU and the like of Navy. And thank God we won't have to hear rumors of our coach bolting to Texas every year.

What would be truly embarrassing, is if Aranda joins Herman at UT.

Herman's about to find out why $$ and ESPN shouldn't dictate your decisions.

UT boosters are the worst in college football because they believe their $$ buys influence. I truly believe this is why Saban didn't entertain more money from Texas to leave Bama.

Tom Herman will find out that his schedule is full of glad handing boosters who think they're Jerry freaking Jones. He's going to be forced to make promises that he can't keep without damaging his system and the football program. I think he's a good if not great coach, but coaching Texas is like being a politician. If he doesn't keep his promises or listen to the boosters, his first instance of struggle will turn the boosters.
