I don't think Les develop QBs any more than Saban does.
He spent his redshirt year at UGA and was am NFL caliber QB, gotcha.

Since 2008 LSU has had underwhelming offense and QB play except for 2013. In 2013 we had Mett. Now, unless you see another NFL talent senior QB on the roster, along with a pair of upperclass NFL WRs, then there's not much reason to think the offense will magically fix itself. Bc apparently that's the personnel required tk make LSUs offense work.
