First of all, let me start by saying yesterday was a complete disaster. Come into a opener hyped like we were and to see that performance was depressing. We got out-played, out-hustled, and out-coached. Our offensive line was atrocious for most of the game. Harris looked way to much in his own head to have any chance of making a play. Our kicking philosophy completely boggles me. And our defense, which played pretty well considering they were on the field pretty much the whole first half, looked confused for much of the game. That comes with a new coordinator and scheme tho. The game as a whole was terrible to watch.

However, you have to give credit where credit is due. Wisconsin played a pretty good game while we played the worst game we could have possibly played. Just going back to '14 when we played them in Houston, you knew it would be a tough game, especially playing in Green Bay. Wisconsin has shown to be practically unbeatable at home.

What I didn't see that I would have liked to have seen more of was someone taking control, as far as leadership goes with the players, on the sideline. We hear about the "leadership council" the team has but never see anybody (players not coaches) getting in anybody's arse on the sideline.

However, this season is NOT over! Yeah, we looked pathetic but, there is still a lot to play for. I'm no pumper, Miles needs to go after the season is over; whatever the outcome may be. But I'm not throwing in the towel either. Let's take a look at the last 5 one loss national champions:

'15: Bama loses to OM @ home
'14: Ohio St loses to Va Tech @ home (bad loss)
'12: Bama loses to aTm & JF @ home
'11: Do we really even need to discuss it??
'08: Florida loses @ home to OM (bad loss) and Tebow gives his crying speech

Notice the trend of the home game losses. We just went into Lambeau Field and played a Wisconsin team, who isn't some slouch program and playing their old DC who left them for dry basically, and got beat in the first game of the season. There is still a lot to play for. We still have the best player in college football. We still have a pretty damn good defense, who will improve throughout the season. Our o-line played horrible and will get better as the season progresses. And if Harris can get out of his head, he could be a good enough QB to not screw it up.

Looking around the league, the only team that looked good yesterday was Alabama. Nobody else really played that well. There is still a ton of potential for a stellar season. Win out and you're in the playoff. It IS possible. Not saying it will happen just saying it's possible. We are going to find a lot out about this team and its leadership in the next 3-4 weeks. Don't give up just yet.

And for you people that call yourselves "fans" that do NOTHING but bitch and moan, go find a hole to crawl in for the next couple of months. Seriously, yall are pathetic. Yall are the reason we don't have the fanbase we used to be. It was the first game of a LONG season. There is a lot that can happen.

I will be at every home game and will be traveling to Auburn and Florida. Never will I give up on the Tigers but I'm also not delusional and can't act like what happened yesterday is good by any means. It's mind boggling how this staff had frikin the whole damn offseason to prepare a new and improved offensive scheme and we came out with the same old Iformation bullshite. Like I said I will never give up on the Tigers and at this point the worst thing that can happen to this university is if it's own fans abandon the games.

While I agree that season not over and the goals are still in play, this team isn't coache by urban nor Saban. There is little to no faith to turn this completely around on offense.

I completely agree. Yesterday was a complete and total F up. But I'm not going to give up on a team, like most on this board have, after one game. There's a chance to turn it around. It's up to the players and we will find out in the next couple of weeks.

I agree with everything you just said but it's not up to the players it's up to this coaching staff to get a fire in there arse

When I say that I mean he's too emotional. When he plays with his emotions more even keeled he looks like a completely different QB.

Coaches can only do so much as far as putting a fire in them. The leaders on the team need to step up and be leaders during the game. Yesterday it didn't look like we had anybody doing that on the sideline.

Dude we aren't even close to a championship caliber team. Did you pay attention to detail yesterday? We can't even get plays called in a timely manner, can't pass, can't kick, have big trouble blocking, and we have zero creativity with schemes. Most of this stuff cannot be fixed overnight or even throughout the season. We have talent with no leadership and that all starts at the top.

Yesterday was worse than bad. With that said, the season is not over. I very much payed attention to detail and what I saw was a team that was told how great they were all summer long get punched in the mouth by a team that everybody wrote off and didn't respond until it was too late yesterday. While you have already given up, I haven't just yet. This team has the potential to be in the playoffs. I'm not saying it's going to happen but I still believe there's a somewhat good chance it could.

If Miles miraculously admits his philosophy is doesn't work anymore and does a complete overhaul on it and makes changes on special teams then maybe just maybe we will have a shot. But you and I both know that isn't going to happen. Even if he did change the O and did nothing with the special teams we have no shot. We could have a killer offense and those special teams would still cost us a game, they are that bad.

This season is an extension of last year's season. History is repeating itself. Will you be satisfied with a 7-8-9 win season and finish 3-4 in the West?
Its time to get ahead of this problem. Miles is a good guy but not good enough for the SEC. Just check out the SEC record over the last 5 years. Hope I'm wrong and will gladly say that I'm wrong when LSU proves me wrong.
