What was Johnson seeing when he was worried about getting all these great arms their innings?

One of these years I’m going to finally stop falling for the hype on the LSU pitching staff.

From now on just expect LSU to have one really good to elite pitcher and a bunch of average to can’t strike out a little leaguer caliber arms.

Looks like they are not well coached. Plenty of talent. Why? It’s just my opinion but I don’t see many change ups being thrown. That has to be taught.

He was talking up his guys preseason. Even the worst of teams have their coaches say good things about them

Untalented but they make up for it by being poorly coached.

Give me a break. These guys have been playing nearly year round baseball most of their lives complete with a personal pitching coach.

They are not tough in the head. They have arm talent that is all. There is zero confidence. Is Jay calling the pitches? I think he is probably besides himself with it. Nobody you can trust to step up.

Stupid question but does Jay have a better hitting or pitching coach background. Might need to have yeskie hit the bench

Johnson is an offensive guy, so he's heavily dependent on his pitching coach, which isn't working out this season.

Calling this staff the best of his career is a massive insult to last year’s staff
