I've been looking for a futures bet on Fan Duel but nothing yet. I figured it would be 7.5 wins.

Not sure if/when FanDuel will post. Other books have it posted at
o6 (WynnBet), o6.5 (Barstool), or o7 (Caesars, DK, others).

Every conference team on the schedule believes they’ll be better this year. Not much margin for error in any of these games.

New coaching staff and playbooks
New QB
Roster full of no chemistry built transfers

NIL edge to SECW rivals right now

Six wins maybe. And I am a huge fan but a realist. May not win but 1 conference game

I get you're excited but you seem naive man. The SEC is a murderers gauntlet. Kelly will do great things, but it's gonna be a process.

We should be pretty damn solid on offense and potentially elite on the DL. If the LBs and secondary can play well, we could be good.

But as it stands now, some really unproven and/or injured guys back there and high powered passing attacks (which we have a lot of in the SEC now) could give us fits.

Yeah, to me the question marks are:
- Linebackers
- Secondary
- offensive line

Others seem to be high on the OL. After last year, I’m gonna need to see it to believe it.

I think the offense will be fine. Possibly really good if the OL gels and we can avoid a clusterfrick at QB. We have an experienced play caller and some absolute studs at skill positions.

Defensive line should be dominant. It makes the back 7’s job easier, but those guys still have to make plays. Especially in today’s game of high-tempo passing offenses. I think the transfers should add some experience and stability, but we’re gonna have a lot of guys out there who we haven’t seen in an LSU uniform.

I think a 9-3 regular season is more likely than 6-6 but I’m not letting myself get talked into high expectations after the last 2 years.

Honestly if we have a winning SEC record and some stability I’ll be satisfied.

Oh, I don't know about that, I am hoping for a New Year's Bowl Game! A lot will depend on the success of our QB play and how the team gels together, but I am always hopeful. I know this, I am more optimistic now than I have been in the last two years.

I believe LSU can and will have a good year, but they will have to have:

Improved consistent execution from the QB position.

Improved play from the Offensive Line and better pass and run protection

Improved rushing attack from John Emery and Noah Cain and company

An improved defensive front that puts heat on the QB and stuffs the run.

Improved play by linebackers and avoiding injuries.

Good coverage in the secondary and staying healthy.

Improvement on Return game on kickoff and put returns.

If all of those parts of the offense and defense are met, it will be a very good improvement.

So pretty much improvement around the board lol. I agree and I think we will see some big improvements. This team has potential to be solid if a lot of these question marks are answered. We will see. 9-3 is my pick.

They are going to have 10 wins, one may end up being a bowl game but they are going to be 9-3 or 10-2 in regular season maybe even better.

I would take that bet.

What position groups do we have that you think will give us an advantage over our SEC competition? Which groups will we be at a disadvantage.

Advantage:

Wide Receivers
Defensive Line

Disadvantage

Linebackers
Cornerbacks
Safeties
Running Backs
Tight End

Neutral

Quarterback
Offensive Line (This may be wishful thinking)

I hope your right. I have the mindset of we had 40 players last year, we are still missing the extra depth of not having a full team. If we get 10 wins, I'd be ecstatic for this football team
