As a student, there is no reason to attend these games. You can't put this on the students when the basketball team has lost 14 in a row. I don't want to hear how you packed tiger stadium in the 90's for curly, football is way different than basketball. The basketball program is hot garbage, and I don't blame my fellow students for not wanting to watch this meltdown of a respectable program

This isn't 1995 theres plenty to do other than go see a terrible team hell even if it was 1995 there's probably something better than to go waste 2 hours watching this team.

Why not come out and say that JJ will not be retained after this season. Maybe then some fans would come out and support the players.

I'm not putting anything on the students. It's not their fault the teams sucks. I'm just saying that if you're a fan of basketball at all, as a student, then you can enjoy going to games even when we are awful. I remember games when the PMAC was on the verge of empty, but we still had a blast. And it was and is still free. That's all I mean. In no way is this the fault of anybody in the stands.

Nail the coaching hire and one good recruiting class and the excitement and fans will be back.

Unfortunately Joe Alleva still works here. So even if they fired JJ tonight he would frick that coaching hire up just like he has done just about his whole career.

JJ is god awful. But he isn't the real problem. Alleva is. I was anti the JJ hire from day one, and everyone else should have been too. It wasn't hard to see that he had no business coaching here again and that this reeked of having CT2/Dale Brown's hands all over it.

I want JJ gone, but until Alleva is gone it won't matter.

There were 12 students total in the lower, middle and upper student sections in the 1st half. Looked like it got into the mid 20s by the 2nd half.

Sad. That explains the dead silence even after LSU made a basket. If you closed your eyes, you wouldn't ever be able to tell it was a home game.

I will say that there is no reason the student section should be empty though. Games are free. Some of the best times of my life were on the front row of the student section in the PMAC, even in shite years. Hell, sometimes the shite times are some of the most fun

Yeah. I'm going to stop doing something productive like watching The Office on Netflix for the 14th time in a row to watch LSU lose for the 14th time in a row.

"This is unwatchable...but why aren't the students there watching?!?!"

I've skipped more SEC games this year than I probably did from Brandon Bass' freshman season through the Ben Simmons season

I agree, except that he killed it pretty quickly. 2 years ago, we were excited about the number one recruit in the country and a top 25 caliber team
