Don't lose your shite tiger fans. The team needs positive karma. Remember we won 2 titles with walk offs. We have the team to win out! Don't quit on this team-

Just have to win 4 in a row. Our last loss led to a 5 game win streak (in the post-season)

I admire your positive attitude- but reality set in today. When a team does not show up to play it is not mentally prepared- We were out pitched, out hit, out fielded, out coached and out prepared

We have a great bunch a kids but to win this would be the greatest miracle in the CWS.

I don't think we have the gorilla hitters to do that

Yes it is. Don't have enough pitching.

Oregon state came back to win the cws in 06 after losing their first game by the score of 11-1. It's definitely possible and we can bounce back

It's very easy to be disheartened when the LSU team was not even competitive. That's what so troubling about the game.

Absolutely, this team won the SEC championship, the best conference in college baseball. This is a great team and they absolutely can win it all.

I have been looking for this stat all day.

This team had shown a championship sparkle all year. Just not sure this is a team that can beat TCU or Vandy on back to back nights.

Of course we did beat a high ranked A&M back to back games. Also always seem to respond after a loss. Just rambling to believe!

Ironically despite the pitching today...this is about our bats getting rolling. Our stars need to play like stars and we are fine. I can't figure out why are bats remain in a slump-

Great teams don't play like they did today. Sorry if you can't except that. Not saying they can't bounce back and win a game or two.

Technically, no. However based on the performance today and the pitching depth of the opposing teams in our bracket, I would say the fat lady is at the microphone & the sound check is done.

Is it just me or did the Tigers stare at around 40-50 strikes today with their bats on their shoulders?

Hate to be negative, but LSU doesn't have the pitching depth needed to get out of the losers bracket. Add to that the hitting has been gone the last 6 games.

Mabye if this was Skip in his hayday 15 - 20 years ago but not with Paul. The guy is so complacent and just stands there like a lump on a log in the dugout. I loved watching LSU in Omaha in the 90's - Skip always had them so pumped and it was intense. I don't see that with Paul's teams. Honestly though I think it's a trend - Miles is the same way. The path to sucess for LSU sports starts with Aleva - may be time for a new AD to start!!!

That's not being negative, it's being realistic. It's going to take everything short of a miracle for this team to win.

Well, one things for certain: the pressure is totally off for this team. After that abortion of a game, nobody in tiger nation is expecting this team to do very much from here on out. They can relax and just play ball for however much time they have left. If it happens, it will be because they expect more from themselves and are willing to perform to their own expectations... It's about mettle as a team and each other from here on out. Let's see what our boys are made of. Do they have the chest to perform?
