This is not a must win for either team.

Don't get me wrong, this game is huge! However, no matter which team loses, if they take care of the rest of their schedule they will most likely be able to avenge their one blemish in Atlanta. Hypothetically, if UF were to fall to our Tigers but win out, who here thinks that the polls don't put UF in the BCSCG? And of course vice versa.

UF yes...but our schedule will not give us a good chance to win out if we lose this. We still have to go TO bama and OM and play the barn at home. Too tough to go undefeated.

With us having to travel to Tuscaloosa, if we want to win the West, this is a must win for LSU. Not so much for UF

Well, we have to go to Bama, to Ole Miss, and host Auburn

UF has UGA, who they always beat and the ole ball coach, and i guess you could say FSU but not really.
none of those teams pose a threat to UF

LSU will either be underdogs or toss ups in there 3 games.

i wouldn't call this not a must win for us.

No. This game is the only game remaining on LSU's schedule that they can lose, and still control their SEC Championship destiny.

How do fans not get this?

Yeah, I get that we don't have the easiest schedule. But if we have title aspirations then we need to take care of business whether we're on the road or in Tiger Stadium. I know we have a long was to go, but I still think that if we grow a lot in Saturday's game and still take the L that it's not entirely a loss. My main point is that either team can lose and still be in the title mix.

If your goal is to win the SEC Championship....every game is NOT a must win. You can lose one regular season game to the East.

If the goal is a National Championship....maybe. It's the luck of the draw. Ask Auburn.

This is true. I'd trade a Bama win for a Florid loss right now, and take my chances with Auburn and Ole Miss.
