What the fuch? Hindsight is 20-20 but Gilbert cost us the game. Clearly it was not the right move

My main problem with the end game is Bain should have been warmed up and ready to go.

He was, and I was hoping to see him just for the last batter. It was obvious Gilbert didn't have it today.

Why is anyone who is critical of any LSU coach a negatiger?????

This is an opinion board... CPM who I'm a fan of, has cost us a few games this season and his use or lack there of our pitching staff.

He's almost completely given up on mid week games and it's carrying over to the weekend series. Our weekend starters are legit he needs to get the relief guys going.

Just a note to anyone who remembers less miles you can be critical of a coach and still love the school and it's programs. ( and no CPM isn't Leslie)

By putting in a guy that has an ERA under 2 with a 3-run lead lol?

Mainieri put Gilbert in a bad position, and Gilbert should have been able to record 3 outs without giving up 3 runs to get us out with a W. Both guys are to blame.

Let me get this straight. Our closer didn't pitch yesterday. So he's fresh. He's one out away from a win facing a guy batting .189. Yep, definitely should have pulled him.

Jesus, guys. Caleb threw s pitch that a guy tagged. I'm not saying PM is infallible, but some of y'all are ridiculous.

Gilbert was the closer. These are the situations he is brought in to pitch. It didnt workout. That simple.

You can blame PM for hiring gibbs, but not for the pitching choices today. Irrational hate on this board

Because he's coming off of an injury. If Hunter reinjured himself today, you all would have blamed PM for not going to Caleb.

Don't be dumb....With a 3 run lead you always bring in your shut down closer in the 9th every single time.

Yea he had a rough night and blew a save but it was 100% the right move to bring him in.

Maineri makes a lot of horrid decisions but this wasn't one. This loss isn't on him.....Our closer had a bad night and that happens to all closers.
