If he hadn't jumped the gun on Miles to Michigan in 2007 that deal would have gone through and we would have been saved all this misery.

Yep, Miles would have still coached us through that game, then gone off to his alma mater a hero in our eyes. No one would have blamed him for taking his dream job.
