Not fine though when we can’t hit easy shots, have bad hands, & you let the 5 dribble the ball from the circle and play one-on-three & get the ball taken away w/o a chance to tie the game. Then the leading, record setting rebounder stands in the key & watches another possible tieing shot bounce out WITHOUT taking one step toward the rim to rebound the miss. Game could have been won in last 2 minutes in spite of sluggish D, poor shooting, fumble fingers , & being drastically slower, especially in backcourt, of the opponent. Still could win it all as Kim will use this like an early loss to a Saban team! But need better conditioning if we are only going to play 6 1/2 players.

The bench players have failed us this year. They could help the starting 5 and give them a breather and rest. The starting 5 looked gassed at times. We have no one on the bench who can contribute, except for Poa. Kim doesn't trust anyone on the bench except for Poa. She won't give them minutes, because they are not good enough.
6'6" Rosario could be the bench player who could play a lot more minutes. She was highly prized #6/#7 best recruit. But to be honest, she doesn't play like the #6/#7 best player. Every time she comes in, she gets beat over and over. She allowed 2 buckets in short order, and Kim quickly pulled her. We have no answer from the bench players. We are fortunate we are 16-2, but the SEC schedule is going to get more difficult, better teams coming up.

They really need a quick point guard .

Yeah yeah…. Our coach is dumb and our players are bad?
Which is it you idiot? Are we 16-2 because of the bad coaching or the overrated players? Or both?
Some of you literally want to complain and flex your superior brains every time a really good team fails. Really sad and amusing

That's what I said. To run down the clock to play for a tie and then think you're going to do it by having your center go one on one against the whole Auburn team and everyone in the arena knew there was no way Reese was going to pass the ball. That's not even good high school coaching.
Mulkey got out coached. The Auburn coach used her strengths, quickness and shooting, to the greatest effect and then used that same quickness to shut down our outside shooting. They were giving Reese the inside shot but we couldn't get it to her enough.
I would have played Del Rosario the whole game and thrown lobs to her and Reese which I think would have gotten Auburn in foul trouble and slowed down their offense.

Who cares about women's basketball? Seriously? The only player that is worth watching is the girl from Iowa, and she shoots about 50 times a game. Everyone else bricks layups, airballs 5 foot shots, and a million turnovers. It's a garbage , unwatchable product, which includes the WNBA.

The team looked tired and flat all day, no energy. Why they looked so flat and sluggish? I dont know, but surely playing with a 6 man rotation have every week since November 1st surely can't help. The team was clearly gassed by the 4th quarter. They had so many opportunities to take the lead/tie or go on a run but couldn't get a stop or rebound
Not getting anything from your bench is brutal. They need more than just Poa. But I don't know if any of that is fixable until the offseason

HVL's passing is horrible and she can't drive in.
