Other than 2018 LSU recruiting classes were far superior on either 247 or rivals...

Now, on Cletus' list out of Spartanburg, that may be what he is talking

So their fan base doesn't know what a 5* recruit is ... got it.

A school would have to pretty much get every 5* in the country for 3-4 years to have 100% of their team be 5*'s.
Another way the SEC is superior ... fan knowledge of the game.

The biggest LSU gap will be Monday night on the score board.

LSU 44-10 Clemson

I have never felt better about an LSU team in big games than I do about our current team. This year we have struck gold and the talent is in sync, totally focused on their goals, well coached, and extremely confident in their ability to succeed. Clemson is going to find this out undeniably in a few days. I actually love their whistling in the dark.

They haven't become that way. They've always been this way. Try living here.

These idiots were this was back when they were a perennial 7-5 team just a few short years ago. Now when they have actual success they are unbearable.

The Alabama Clemson Natty games, I've just been pulling for the meteor.

Wait. That is tongue in cheek right?

Do they really think every player that signs with Clemson is a 5 star?

This is barely scratching the surface of the typical post over there.

Damn this makes me want to win this game all the more.

Did they not see the stock pile of awards we just won, the records we destroyed this year, but we have no talent?

do these idiot not know LSU puts the most players in the NFL and have essentially done so for the last 15 years? Our state is rich in talent...

Their star RB we offered late is from Louisiana...

this is going to be good

A star by your name doesn't make your good or talented..

what you do, what you develop into is what matters

Another interesting note. This LSU team is the least talented team we will have faced for a national championship. Alabama's teams in '15, '16, and 18' all had a blue chip ratio above 75%.

Imagine being so fricking dumb that you’re convinced that a 12% difference in “blue chip ratio” affects the 2 deep on a team, which is the only thing that matters in the natty. Also, we have several starters (Lewis, Moss, etc.) who may not have been a blue chip recruit, but had a track record of being successful at the college level and transferred here. This is the most talented LSU team I’ve seen on offense, and still really damn talented on D. People who go to Clemson are a bunch of fricking weirdos

A couple of things.
For one, not all of us live “down there”. I for one live just a few short miles from clemson.
Second, in no way would a clempson fan making those statements be “obviously” sarcasm. I wear LSU everywhere up here and have several “conversations” each day as a result and, the content of most conversations are similar in content to those mentioned above.
What is obvious is you don’t know the mass ignorance/delusion associated with your fan base. It’s really to another level, even more so than that of a Notre Dame fan. (I never thought I’d ever say that about anyone).

It will be like Hillary all over again! I will go as far as to say, they will complain their loss is due to LSU had the home team advantage!

I'm also in SC and you're 100% right. Even when they were consistently terrible they still thought thy were better than everyone else. Absolutely insufferable fanbase.

LSU offers every 5 star too along with every CFB program.

LSU currently has 7 five stars, 44 four stars, and 32 three stars according to 247 (Jefferson and Chushenberry were 2 stars...Burrow was a three star now playing like a 6 star). 247 talent points: 906.17

Clemson has 7 five stars, 33 four stars and 33 three stars. 247 talent points: 863.03

Talent is very important but it's not the end all be all. It also how you use it. For example according to 247 USC has more talent than LSU but USC sucks.

4-stars: 11

3-stars: 4

2-stars: 2

CLEMSON

5-stars: 7

4-stars: 7

3-stars: 8

And those two 2 stars on LSU will be drafted higher than some of Clemson's 5 stars.
