If it's been posted, I'm sorry. Revel in the greatness again

With this info in front of a voter. How does one say it’s not Jayden so I understand when he gets robbed of it.. Jayden is more than deserved of this accomplishment/ award.

Because when you have an agenda to promote your west coast guy you don't want statics to cloud voters minds. It's pathetic that they trample on Jayden saying he would be carrying a clipboard behind their guy instead of pointing out their guys feats.

It is pathetic, but it's true.

Jayden would have that schedule of teams put away by half time, then he would call plays for the back ups.

Nix has had a great year, but he does play in a VERY QB friendly system with a ton of easy quick throws as well.

For reference, of the 4,161 receiving yards for Oregon this season, 2,595 of them have came AFTER the catch. That's over 62% of yards after the catch for his receivers.

Daniels receivers have 4,009 yards and 1,884 yards have came AFTER the catch. That's under 47% of yards after the catch by comparison.

I've gotten into how much shorter Nix throws the ball previously as well, but that's evidenced by his average target only being 7 yards from the LOS while Daniels is over 10 yards. They throw a ton of screens.

Smh. Should be a riot he doesn’t bring the Heisman home and LSU should lead it.

He’s not getting robbed. He is getting the Heisman.

What is a “big time throw“?

Only 4% of Nix throws were professional attempts, the other 96% I could’ve thrown?

I wish JD had gotten 54 more yards. Crossing the 5000 yard threshold would be amazing and put him nearly 1000 yards ahead of Nix.

I had to Google it:

quote:

PFF’s big time throw metric is defined as passes with “excellent ball location and timing, generally thrown further down the field and/or into a tighter window.”

Strength of Schedule.

Case closed.

The competition Daniels faced this year is the exact same level of competition that Bo Nix failed miserably with at Auburn.
