I know that calling for coaches and staff to be fired is a treasured past time here, but I find it hilarious that now the rant wants the AD and university president fired as well.

It got old a lot quicker than I figured it would last night.

I'm ready to trade all of my treasured memories of the better melts for a few more smart fans.

LSU took a PR hit over last few weeks and that has to fall on someone...Alleva. From anyone on he outside looking in it appears as though Alleva started this plan last year with the Chavis deal. So you have a AD that is working to undermine the head coach, moved to replace him but backed away for whatever reason. Les is the coach, but is he a lame duck? Even if the powers that be want to cut Les loose next year, the right play is to stand up and back Les. The most visible action would be to remove the AD that was behind this power play. Even if Alleva was just a pawn of the big money folks behind the scene, it is time for a new pawn.
