They Say Penalties are a Reflection of the Coaching Staff

LSU committed a season-high 12 penalties — five in the first quarter — for 118 yards. (It entered the game averaging 5.6 penalties.)
Some of the penalties were totally unnecessary because of undisciplined individuals. You would think the players would be scared of O, but apparently they are not. O likes to refer to his players like they are his sons, and made a point in referring to T. Marshall that way in a press conference.
Can he be the coach that he is, gaining great players because of the 'family' atmosphere at LSU, and command more control of the team on the field?

Would you like to research penalties before that game?

What the frick is wrong with you? You make the most terrible threads. Just admit you hate the fact that Ed is winning on the national stage.

Whatever he is doing is working. It was a bad game. A parent can't be with their kid all the time just like a coach can't play like the players can. I'm not concerned about it.

So the answer is yes

You really are a shitty poster. Do you realize we were the least penalized team in the SEC? Bama is the most.
Saban has lost control of his team.

Weirdest post I've read on here in a long time.

We're 8-0 with 3 wins over top 10 teams.

Auburn also had a season high number. Correct me if I’m wrong but I am pretty sure I saw that on the screen yesterday.
The only “troubling” penalties were the Dillon and Davis-Price.
Didn’t see what happened to Dillon after but Davis-Price caught hell from an assistant afterwards. No need for EO to do anything.

I don’t think O coaches the secondary to get called for phantom PIs to extend the opponents drives.

They also say a team's record is a reflection of the Coaching Staff.
See how that works.

I'd be concerned if none of the coaches said anything after the penalty. Instead, the players got an earfull from the coaching staff.

The coach that posters like to throw around here as the standard for "discipline" and "control" has his team averaging one whole penalty a game more than LSU this season - 7.38 to 6.38. The Auburn game was a bad game for penalties, uncharacteristic of this team for this season.

Are you retarded?
Players holding or PI isn’t “not being scared of the coach”.
They are mental mistakes. If they spent the whole game worrying about getting yelled at, they would make nothing but mistakes the whole game. Football is about doing the same thing over and over so it’s second nature. If you think too much, you mess up.
No coach should make their players “scared” of them.
