I guess I understand the reasoning, but that seems a little unfair.

LSU wants to play tonight. ULL probably doesn't.

Only need about a 2 hour window to play 1 game. You'd have to have about a 4 and a half to 5 hour window to play 2 (you need time between games. It's 9:57 right now and there has been 5 1/3 innings played in Tiger Park today.

Is this really a rule about advancing to the super's if we don't get to play tomorrow providing we hang on and win tonight . I've never heard of that

It's an absolute last resort if they can't finish a regional for some reason. Same for baseball. They will make every attempt to finish. I don't think tomorrow is the deadline, tho.
