Most of the mouth breathers starting threads about miles have under 100 posts. Interesting.

Sorry if I don't understand the angst here. In '07 you lost two, that's TWO games. This year you lost one, that's ONE game. All the dominos fell into place in '07 and you won the final game. The dominos didn't cooperate this year and you lost the final game. This year's team was probably better than the '07 team. These things have a way of evening out. I would say that this year is the year that things evened out for '07. Wouldn't you agree?

What sucks is this:

"It was the first shutout in the title game since the current bowl-game selection process was instituted in 1998." and against Saban.

How's that?

I'd flesh that out, but what would be the point?
I'd like to read it. I bet others would too.

But come on, you seriously think miles should be fired? That is an overreaction to the extreme.

Yes, if you want Miles fired, who do you want to hire? John Gruden isn't coming here, so don't tell me that shite.

Ranters are dumb.

He doesn't deserve to be fired, we went 13-1 and finished #2 in the country. However, our offense went through serious struggles at points after Lee was pulled against Bama. We struggled against UGA, our qb had 33 passing yards, no first downs in the first half. Then to have over a month to make adjustments, and we ran the same offense against a much better defense. That's what bothers me

Think of it as a singular issue case. Not a case based upon record or coaching ability. Not a case of "there is someone better". A case where a singular issue is so bad it rises to the level of firing. Again, I'll probably change my mind. I love Miles.

I'm happy we have LM as coach. Team played great all year. It's not that we lost to Alabama, it's how we didn't show-up to coach and play QB when we had the football in prime time. Anyway - support the team and coaching 100%, but I sure hope LM and coaching staff practice more on becoming a passing team for next year.

We have the best fans, but we caertainly have the worst. Usually, the worst ones are the T-shite fans....you know the ones that never stepped foot on campus a day in the life, except on Saturdays. I still live Les Miles!

Some folks are just miserable people Prom.

Something happened and it's so big that it affected everyone in the program, coaches and players alike. No way that team, usually as high as a kite, comes out and plays like that without outside influences. We'll know before long.
