Anyone who thinks otherwise is a very slow learner.

Get ready for a repeat of this season if Les stays.

If that is in fact the case, he's guaranteed not to coach at LSU after next year.

If Alleva allows that, he will be gone after next year too... So, I don't think that's going to happen.

The changes would be subtle. There would be less I. It would look like the late 3rd and 4th quarter of the Ole Miss game with more balance (we had to pass a ton at that point). Same philosophy, just a little faster and with more formations. It still wouldn't be a good fit for Harris because of the reliance on downfield and seam routes in the passing game.

ETA- My bad. I read that backwards. My description is what would happen if Cam took the reigns for Miles (which Incant imagine happening). If Miles takes the offense, it would be I all day.

Unless, all this rabble is the wake up call Les needed. It could happen.

Agree totally. Alleva should have met the coaches when the team got back to the facility and fired Les then, then told Cam good luck with the rest of the season. Waiting has solved nothing.

Regardless, I don't think the depth is there next year for anyone to excel. No LB or OL tackle depth and the DL will be young again. So maybe a new offensive coordinator could come in and we could beat folks 52-49 if somehow we can block better- but I don't see it happening.

Les gets 2016 and all of next season we're talking about who his replacement would be. Hopefully not too many recruits bail...

And here is another thing consider to the people that want Miles to stay or is afraid of firing him.

Who in the hell would want to be an OC here KNOWING that he is on pretty much a one year trial period? Miles will again have his fingers all over the offense, we will again have bad QB play, we will again squander offensive talent, and we will again lose 4-5 more games.
