The "young" team excuse..

listening to herbie and he just said this tOSU team is comprised of mostly freshmen and sophomore starters. They are about to win the nc and go 14-1.

Why is it that this excuse is always thrown out there for LSU?

I wonder why Stanford dragged arse all year after how many 10-11 win seasons?

Or UCLA?

Florida states defense was young but it's FSU so they should be Elite regardless.

Clemsons offense was young but fire Dabo because they werent a Top 5 team.

You do realize every team NOT named OSU is asking thus same question, don't you?

OSU got hot....kudos to them

QB - 3 years in college
RB - 2 years in college
WR1 - 3 years in college
WR2 - 4 years in college
WR3 - 2 years in college
TE: - 4 years in college

total years of experience: 18.

LSU
QB - 2 years in college
RB - 1 year in college
WR1 - 2 years in college
WR2 - 2 years in college
WR3 - 1 year in college
TE - 3 years in college

Total years of experience:10

It's almost HALF at the skill positions.

they start 6 underclassmen on offense and 4 on defense, that's about the same as LSU
