It was an actually well designed play. We used to have those in like 2013.

It amazes me how excited I was when that play was called. It really is a pretty basic play that teams use against us, but we have not called a play like that in years, at least in my memory.

There were several plays during that stretch that looked like the stuff you watch other teams call.

To bad we reverted to the unimaginative game plan in the 2nd half.

It's one of the few times I've felt we ran a play designed to do exactly what we needed. Other teams constantly run plays like that on third and short. They're difficult to defend.

I also though the bootleg on third down on the goal line was a very good play call.
