I was in a room full of people at my grandmother's house. 11 years old. Jumped up off of the couch and nearly broke my hand on a very fast moving ceiling fan.

My emotions went from unbridled joy to sheer agony in a split second.

TBH the only other time in my life I was that estatic after a play, was Tracy Porter's pick six in the Superbowl. That was just a surreal moment.

Bluegrass Miracle and Warren Morris were the most low-to-high moments in my life. The Cresse and Porter plays were surreal in nature because we were in position to win the SB44 and 2000 CWS by position.

I was in the car heading home from Metro Ryan at the end of national guard annual training. I think I heard 1 or 2 batters before Morris. I had a troop giving us live updates while we were all waiting for rides.

I told Mrs. Midnight, "Warren is an All American, but broke his wrist, I think for the Olympic trials, and hasn't been right all year." Hawthorne commented at that point that he hadn't hit a home run all season. I turned to Mrs. Midnight and said, "He's due."

TINK

That was a fantastic moment.

I got home from my sons little league baseball game in time to catch the last 3 innings of the game. If I remember correctly, we were down 7 to 2 at that point. That was the most exciting 3 innings of baseball that I ever witness as we chipped away at their lead, scoring two or more runs in each inning, and then to finish it with the walk off home run. nana:

BTW, how weird was it for a Morrison to be pitching to Morris during that fateful at bat?

And, Morrison took the loss to heart and apparently decided to just be "jacked" later in life.

I was in California for company meetings. In my hotel room alone as it was on pretty early west coast time.
I jumped up and down on the bed yelling and screaming

Watched it in my living room in Houston, was mad because of all the mistakes and wanted to throw a brick through my TV. When he hit it, I jumped up, screaming and ran outside yelling like a wild man. My neighbor came outside and grabbed me to find out what happened. I told him and then ran and jumped in my swimming pool fully clothed. In freakin real! Greatest memory I have in sports next to T Porter's pick six and the sack of White from Oklahoma in 2003.
Morris wins though because of the magnitude and the fact there never has been a 2 out walk-off to win a championship.
