Jimbo Fisher had one good year at Florida State and since and before then they were average at best. Chip Kelly didn't do anything at Oregon. The one time he went to the title he lost to Scam Newton. And for those who say Scott Frost, have you seen our defense? Imagine it if he was our coach.

Fisher won the NC two years ago and was in the CFP last year.

Kelly's team lost to one of the greatest college QBs of all time.

Using the same language as Harvey Updyke invalidates anything you have to say.

What did they do in the playoff? And outside of Newton, who on that team was good?

Throw the bank at Urban Meyer since we're throwing unrealistic options out there.

Chip Kelly is about the only person who I think LSU could get that's constantly mentioned on here. Jimbo would be stupid to move to the SEC when he's in a shite conference with 1 other good team every year. Beat Clemson and you're good.

Chip Kelly's finesse scheme will not work in the SEC. You need a power scheme to go with it and the reason Urban Meyer was so successful at Florida was because he immediately knew that. CUM is the only one of these spread coaches that understands if you're going to win in the SEC consistently sometimes you have to cram it down their throat. Spreads like Oregon will get ate up in the SEC where defenses have athletes they can just man up on you and dominate. Chip's scheme wants to get up on you fast and never take your foot off their throat. That works when the defense doesn't have the speed or athletes to keep up with the pace. Until you play someone like Bama or LSU.

Still went 12-2

He has certainly had more than 1 good year. And that 1 year was great.

He's had multiple first round QBs drafted

He is 46-7 as a college head coach and was 33-3 in conference play. He had three top-10 finishes, three conference titles, and played in one of the marquee bowls (the former BCS 4) in each season.

You want to run that by me again?

His best recruiting ranking?
His biggest win?
His best bowl?
His scheme vs. the league?

Isn't everyone wanting to run our current coach off for running an antiquated offense?
