Negatigers who express their every disassatisfaction at every level have a lot more to do with bringing LSU down than any individual coach at any level has ever done or will ever do. With mass media and social networking as it is today, it's the negatigers who spew and hide behind anonymous emoticons and internet names that hurt us overall. They make us think that everyone is disgruntled and unhappy. It's that way with high school sports, college sports, politics, and religion. The most vocal appear to reflect the views of the majority. BUT THEY DON'T.

I agree with you - except about Curley Hallman, he did more than all of the Negatigers/Sabanistas combined. Curley was the equivalent of 5 megatons of Negatigers.

Actually, I had a class today where even the professor started going on about it. I about walked out of there. I could only think to myself, "Wow the Rant has now invaded the real world. We're doomed."

Please find me one school in the SEC (or really any BCS conference) that would trade coaches with us today. Not even Ole Miss fans that I have talked to would take that deal, which is a pretty big statement considering he won a BCS title and their coach just lost to a 1-AA school.

The fact is that Les Miles' lack of attention to detail and lack of preparation has caused his teams to underachieve. Yes, when you have top 5 recruiting classes and produce results that are barely (or not even) in the top 25, you are underachieving.

Furthermore, Miles has zero credibility because he makes promises and gives lip-service to "correcting problems," but yet we still see the same results (blown leads, failure to put the ball in the hands of playmakers, etc.). What took the cake was the way he threw his starting QB under the bus following the Ole Miss game last year, when in reality, it was his failure to timely call a TO before that play that cost us the time we needed after the completion. He gets paid nearly $4M per year, its his responsibility to call TO.

While the results on the field are starting to show these problems, his lack of attention to detail was evident even before the SEC losses starting building. Auburn 2007, in the on the field interview after the game, Miles had NO CLUE how much time was left when the ball was snapped. Auburn 2006, LSU had a QB with one of the strongest arms in the country and we ran the ball 95% of our first down plays and lost the game 7-3. Miles was handed the keys to a Cadillac and he his failure to maintain it has turned it into a Ford.

Merely expressing one's opinion will not impact the success of LSU, and wishful thinking will not restore our former Elite status.

I hope Les proves me wrong, but I don't speak his language.

FWIW, if the ref doesn't pick up the flag on that pass interference call, we go down and score. We win that game, then we go to Atlanta and, with the way we were playing by the end of the season, I know we would've crushed the Gators.

But that was literally 4 years ago. This year, we're undefeated. And we have a game on Saturday after which I'm confident we'll be 2-0. At the end of the season, if it turns out like 2008, then I'll say you're right. But as it stands right now, you need to relax and see how this season plays out. There were things that happened last Saturday night that have given me greater optimism this season. You don't have to share that optimism, but you can at least not call the season a bust already.

That was my point. He has been making the same mistakes for four years.

I agree it was bad call at the end of the game, but with the offense we had in 06 there is no reason to that we should have been held to 3 points over 60 minutes of football.

I agree that the most vocal is not allways the most , but tiger fans are very passionette with love of the tigers and there fans. It gets allful frustrating to see the same mistakes every game and to know we can do better. No one hates miles or any other coach... I think its more of a WAKE up and do something.
When you see someone like polini go to a team that has lost a lot of respect and bring that respect back in two years or saban going to alabama and what they are doing in a couple years.... its just frustrating to the fans

The negatiger philosophy is very logical. LSU should win every game. If LSU loses a game it's because of the coaching. We all know that LSU has the best athletes in the world. LSU should win all games by at least 3 TDs.

So, when this does not happen, the coaches should be fired. Eventually, we shall achieve a coaching staff that never loses a game.

I want LSU to win championships. When the Tigers barely win a game (and win by luck) that we should have easily won, I get concerned that we will not win championships.

When the coaching staff continues to struggle with game management on the field, I get concerned that we will not win championships.

When the coaching staff has left us with only two scholarship quarterbacks that after this season each will have only one year of eligibility left, I get concerned that we will not win championships.

It is too early in the season to know how we will do, but I see no reason why a fan can not make honest observations about the performance of the coaching staff.

I don't want to reflect the views of the majority of Tiger fans. I want to win championships.

We dont expect to win every game , but we do expect to go out and play football to win... not go out and play not to lose and there is a difference

Just want to get the most of the talent that we have. I don't think this coaching staff has done that. Even in 2007, there is only one game where you can say we got the most out of our talen (Va. Tech). Besides that game, that staff did not get the most out of its talent.
