I cannot wait to see him play next season. He's going to be another great one for us.

That is the truth. My son is 6'4" and I can't tell when he's put on 30 pounds -- he has to tell me

Top Billin was very complimentary of Brennan earlier this week, and commented on the weight gain.

If MB has Burrow’s pocket awareness we should be ok .

You were probably skeptical about Burrow before this year too.

Black Mamba is one of deadliest snakes out there. No White Mambas though. He must have a snake build, according to team mates, like Ken Stabler, of old.

Quite a transformation. Sitting behind Joe Burrow for 2 years will end up being the best thing that ever happened for Myles Brennan.

He wouldn't have been ready in 2018, but I believe he's ready now.

people have it in their heads too much to compare myles brennan to a redshirt senior joe burrow. QB's make huge leaps in those final years with experience under belt.

I wasn't comparing them. My point was, Brennan would've been the guy in 2018 if not for Burrow, and he would not have been ready.

i wasn't really directing my comment to you. But to your point, yes, myles learned a ton from joe with his smarts and competitveness etc. But you still earn a ton from playing too. Joe got better from 2018 as well from experience. Wasn't only 100% schematic changes that made LSU better.

Weight doesn't help a QB read defenses. Or go through progressions. Or throw accurately. Or have poise. Or have pocket presence. Or lead.

Thank goodness Brennan has all the above.
he does? You've seen that?

Now look, I hope he has all of that and lights it up next year, but this obsessive focus on his weight, as if his abilities as a QB hinge on it, is just absurd.

We'll see after spring ball whether O thinks Brennan is our guy next fall. If not, it's transfer time, part II.

Yeah I watched Brennan for 4 years and play in 40+ games in HS and take his team to 3 State Champions and throw for 16,000 yards. Yeah, I have seen him read defenses and go through his progressions.
