Could be a leader that steps up, a freakish talent that rallies the team, anything that gets us going.

It's a rough place to be right now and we need something.

Simple post with straight up truth. LSU has no clear leaders on this team and you don't have to look any further than the lack of discipline displayed over the past three games. You think Jacob Hester, Dorsey or PP7 would have tolerated this crap? nope. The team needs a leader to step up and take ownership.

It's so rare for a team to lose a football game. Maybe manna will fall from the sky with secret nutrients that make us winners.

Let's win tomorrow and move forward and support our University. Other than that, we fans passengers on a roller coster ride. We don't control anything and bitching about everything is snowflakey.

I understand where you're coming from there. But, I disagree somewhat. Look at Devin White on defense. He's clearly the defensive quarterback and we all could see it coming when he was spending every spare second he could with Aranda ever since he signed, being a sponge and learning the nuances of the game. And his play speaks for itself.

The leader on defense is there, and if he rubs off on his defensive teammates, it's going to be another elite LSU defense like we've seen in past years.

Now as far as offensive leadership goes...

My biggest problem with the MS game was the defeated attitude the whole team showed after the 1st half. Yes it was and up hill battle but we flat out quit and that's a reflection on coaching more than anything. We are young, we are thin at positions but we are a large major football university with lots of resources. Coaches have to prepare for ALL circumstances it concerns me that our 1st SEC game it appeared we could not even compete with that level of football.

I still support CEO and the tigers if CEO is going to be a viable option for the next 3-4 years we need to show significant improvement over the course of this year if not then he is not the Coach for LSU. We will have bumps but a good coach with the resources LSU has can figure out how to maneuver around those bumps.

Good head coaches don't leave the need for a "spark." LSU should never be gazing into the night sky wondering "why is the other team playing so hard? We never expected this!" LSU should come out fired up for every single game.
