The TAF and big money boosters deserve red meat, and his name is Alleva. We had a 2 month head start to pick the coach that will steer a 48m dollar net business, the most profitable in college football, and this is the result.

Don't get me wrong. I want Coach O to be very successful, but the odds are not in his favor. Aranda very well may leave, and we are hanging our hats on O attracting an unscrupulous OC who has shown he needs significant oversight.

The safest choice to protect our golden goose was Jimbo, but his negotiating tactics made us feel slighted. Herman was a gamble, but one with tremendous upside. He too rubbed us the wrong way, and we folded to UT.

Instead of protecting our goose, we decided to make a decision with our hearts and not our heads. Instead of swallowing a bit of pride and accepting Jimbo's demands, which would have probably resulted in a championship, we showed him who's boss.

Congrats Alleva. You showed everyone you won't be pushed around. Now you will most certainly be the main course and will be served rare.

So you don't think we look like complete idiots? You don't think this was a complete shite show? We made big boy moves in letting go of Miles, and then curled up in a ball when things got real.

You are acting like a Clinton supporter.

This is the only thing you said that I agree with.

Yes because Jimbo hasn't shown a propensity of developing QBs and we didn't have the best one coming to LSU. No way that yields a NC.

He's won one already. How many does O got? Maybe that's why we call him O..

Is that accurate? I figured it was up there, but I wouldn't have bet it was #1.

Alleva is a weak link, but we don't need to let the big money boys run the show, either. That leads to a dumpster fire like they have in Austin.

If you don't think the Board of Supervisors, the TAF boosters and counsel as well as Alexander and Alleva were not all involved in this search, negotiation and decision then you don't understand LSU politics. Alleva did not make this pick alone. ALL were involved.

You are 100% correct. With that said, we need a legitimate AD, not some wishy washy guy who railroaded the Duke Lacrosse team, and then our football team.

He's tight with CEO which should be a happier scene for him at the workplace.
