What about emergency personnel being pulled to work a football game.

Is anybody actually worried about the weather on game time? No.

What if it rips apart the entire city of Gainesville? Sure LSU would be fine. Bit...how can you play a game there?

So there won't be any damage after a cat 3 hurricane goes through? There will be power?

You do understand that the LSU football team has to get to the game site.

The storm will be gone. You know what else will be gone? The fans and many employees. You know what wont be gone? The damage from the storm.

This is just dumb.

That is not the point at all.
After a hurricane emergency personnel is needed an a thousand other places than watching a football game.
Secondly, the team has to fly in a day or two ahead of time, that puts their plane trying to land in tropical storm force winds, and then a bus ride (not exactly the best vehicle for sheer winds).
Its irresponsible in every way. Have a downvote

It will be okay. Gainesville is in the middle of the state. Florida as a whole is surprisingly hurricane ready as opposed to Louisiana.

Not to mention the people closer to the coast probabbly looking for hotel rooms inland. Move the game and Tons of rooms open up.
