Lsu should lock Aranda up keep coach O as hc and hire lane.
Coach O 3 million
Lane 2 million
Aranda 2 million
You get your recruiter, DC and OC all for 7 million dollars much less what it will cost to hire a superstar coach and his staff. Sign these guys for 4 years with favorable buyouts to LSU.
Does this sound realistic? O is happy to be hc at LSU don't think he argues 3 mill. Lane and Aranda would be happy making 2 mill as coordinators that's more than most NFL coordinators. Think that locks up your DC and OC for a long time.

Why not just let Aranda coach? That solution is only good for 1 year max because both those guys could be head coaches for major programs.

I do not want Kiffin associated with LSU in anyway. I think a lot of his success is supported by players that are recruited, conditioned and disciplined in Saban's program. Execution goes a long way and Saban's program, like it or not, does a pretty good job holding players accountable for execution.

Lane and CEO together would get us on probabation and be a cluster. I am concerned CEO behaves better while interim than with long term guaranteed contract. Lane needs a hard line organized head coach that keeps him accountable, focused, and gives him no slack. I am not sure if CEO IS that way normally, but I really don't think he would be that way with Lane.
