I know this is kind of redundant but I just wanted to say it. LSU made the right move regardless of the outcome.

Even if we hire the wrong guy and look like Tennessee for 10 years, LSU still made the right decision. Here's why:

1)you cant settle for mediocre or "pretty good" because you are scared that things could get worse. you end up like Penn St if you allow a coach to keep his job past his prime.

2)This program over the last 11 years has won at least half its games IN SPITE OF its coach not BECAUSE OF its coach. Using his overall record to defend him means very little considering he had enough talent to win even more than he did.

The move should have been made last November but its better late than never

No question, LSU football could not have become more unwatchable than the last 5 years.
