It was probably discussed on the Scoreboard earlier, but when was the last time you saw somebody throw a blatant punch and not get ejected from the game. That was a pretty egregious offense to me, shouldn't it have been reviewed and the player ejected?

Yes it should have been reviewed.... playing at home was an advantage Florida .... SEC officiating in ANY sport is horrible....

At the least, it should've been reviewed, not offsetting penalties.

One guy is talking smack, the other guy throws a blatant punch. That's offsetting?

That ref's crew is pretty bad. I don't know who he is but there's always something with his crew.

There was this, then the Florida guy stepping out of bounds which wasn't called.

now that the game is over and we won this thread clearly isnt about being sore losers. the punch shouldve been an automatic ejection i dont understand how we get an ejection for targeting reviewed and called correctly but that guy gets away with an open hand punch that the ref flagged but he doesnt get ejected, the "running into the kicker" was a bullshite call, just because he hit our punters leg with his leg instead of his arms doesnt change which penalty should be called. running into is supposed to be for soft contact, the dude went through our punters kicking leg

Actually that was the right call. Not defending the refs, they were pretty terrible but that was the correct call.

There's running into the kicker and there's roughing the kicker.

I think the correct call was made on the running into the kicker, but honestly this is one of the only times I ever remember someone getting away with a punch and not being ejected. It would be a different story if the infraction was not seen, but he was penalized.

If I am not mistaken, is the punch a reviewable play to determine if an ejection is warranted?

Yeah the running into the kicker was correct.

However, the unsportsmanlike fouls should not have been offsetting, and the call on Dillion was horrible.

Chark or Gage (I think it was Gage) was literally laughing at him after he threw that punch, like "you F'd up dude". Nothing happened. When I saw where they spotted the ball after the dude stepped out at least 4 times and potentially 5 I was completely dumbfounded. How convenient that it wasn't reviewed before the snap got off.

Good composure from our guys not letting that stuff get to them.

Not only that, but they called offsetting unsportsmanlike penalties. SEC refs are not even pretending to be honest any more.

This game from an officiating standpoint reminded me of those typical games in auburn particularly 06.

Umm did anyone catch the nonreview of the guy running out of bounds for a long gain for Florida, followed by the PI with the tip ball. Now they did finally review and overturn the PI because of the tip but it was pretty obvious the ball was tipped and the flag was never picked up, needed to see it on review. But on that run, the Florida runner was out of bounds twice ,maybe three times and the play stood....that group was horrible

It was a sissy slap to someone who had a helmet on but as a Tiger fan I wanted him to die by lethal injection.

I hope an inquiry is submitted. Was ridiculous that they didn't even stop to review it.

The biggest take from tis is that our "head coach " didn't NOTHING to challenge the refs on anyone of them.

We know the refs were gators last night but whose side is he on?

I’m guessing Commisiioner STANKEY told them to ignore it. Still bitter about how we called him out last year over the UForfeit fiasco.
