Wr position is not improved. The only reliable receiver we have is R. Randle.

. . . yes, better paraphrase.

Your point is well-taken. In my opinion, the source of the weaknesses in this team are coaching: roster management, talent development and play-calling. I believe the players are putting forth their best effort.

I can't argue this, although I do believe there may be some players (more than one, no names) who seem frustrated and may not be giving their best effort. But for the vast majority, I agree.

Other than arguably OL, through 4 games, which position on offense has improved?

Even though miles and crowton seem clueless how to run a offense the players can take criticism too,the coaches aren't staring down receivers one hopping passes and dropping balls...come on if u can't handle criticism u might wanna try something else, somebody on offense has to step up and become a leader,u can't teach that!

I don't necessarily disagree with this statement, unless it has to do with drive, attitude, and determination. These are D-1 players, that for most of their entire playing careers, have had the world handed to them on a silver platter. Before reaching college, they were rarely challenged. However, things are a lot tougher here at LSU. It is having the proper attitude and internal drive to improve yourself both physically and mentally, making the necessary commitment and effort to accomplish such that has started to fall under question with JJ. His comments are not helping much either.

Tight end is non existent, A qb playin wr, and TT dropping passes is hurting. Ridley seems to be an upgrade to the rb position even though I believe we need a bigger back for short yardage downs.

oline
rb
that leaves qb
receivers dont count b/c of the crap qb play.

special teams and defense are as good as any in the country.
If we had a qb everybody would be on the sec/nc bandwagon.

OL is unquestionable improved, IMO, and that's huge (5 players).

RB are greatly improved.

TE, down, but may be due to injury.

WR, not improved. Tons of talent, but still dropping passes. But that happened all last year, too.

QB, regressing, every game.

Mingo plays with an aggressive mentality, and hopefully he has learned from his mistakes. The same is true for Barrow, who I believe had the late hit PF on the sideline.

One can accept the penalties from Mingo and Barrow as they both were being aggressive in their playing. PP's penalty on the other hand was an uncalled for ego trip that hurt his team.
