But what does this say about new in-state contender ULM?

I'm just content for our boys to whip up on the lessers for the next couple weeks.
SC, Florida, Texas A&M will all have strong elements of football but not complete teams.

If our playbook is open, and we're healthy hopefully we beat Big brother Nov 3rd.

No kidding. As far as I can remember, LSU plays Bama this season. No need to worry about what anyone thinks til then.

God knows beating them last November settled things, lol.

Right?

Michigan is still a top 25 team and better than Washington or North Texas so why are you do angry and envious?

They'll probably insert a 330 lb linemen in his place.

It means the winner of the Nov 3rd game will probably be the front runner to win the NC.

Let's see, LSU beat unranked NT while Bama beat #8 Michigan by the same score, then Michigan barely escapes AF... and #8 Arky got beat by ULM...

It means we don't want to be ranked #8?

That AF should be ranked?

I'm confused!

Just think, some people actually use that logic.

I agree with the OP. I think what he's saying is that he's tired of hearing about how infallible those other bums are when they haven't really done anything greater than us.

If we gave up 6 sacks like they did to a rent a win foe can you imagine what the $hitstorm would be like on this board? Our coach would be crucified while that other ahole coach is still diefied.

LSU fans tend to over react (see North Texas game) and many may be borderline mentally retarded

I agree. LSU looks like the better team to me right now. Mett is obviously the real deal and a QB was all this team lacked last year in my opinion. I think we are weak in pass coverage and our O-Line didn't impress me at all last yesterday.

We gave up 6 sacks against Western Kentucky and if we can't protect AJ better than that he will get killed against a team like LSU.

Also, losing Jolston Fowler was a big del for our offense. Fowler is the utility guy that gets it done every play and he fills about 3 roles for us on offense.

Oh well, good game Tigers and I guess this is why we play the games.

I totally agree with the OP's statement. Every bit of it is correct.

That said, I also agree with some of the other posters. Since the are defending national champs, they deserve all the hype they are getting. After being seemingly pumped with sunshine all last year, I'd much rather out of the limelight.

Of course I would feel differently if we didn't play bama, but we do. We will have our chance to be thrusted into the number one spot. If we beat Bama, we deserve it. Let our play do all the talking.
