I really hope this is a troll job because it's perfect. Who in their right mind wants to see that bullshite back at Tiger Stadium. We finally have real quarterbacks that can throw the ball and you want that horrible offense back?

We could run the wishbone, too.

Darrell Royal said, “there are only 3 things that can happen when you throw the ball and 2 of them are bad. “

We could be the SEC version of Ga Tech

Max as a running QB? Could be deadly with him and a bada$$ running back. Just a thought.

first of all, Max will not be our starting qb. secondly, be honest, you really don't understand the option very well. Max is not ready to run the option in SEC football. furthermore, there's a reason the game has moved to rpo instead of outdated options.

Do y’all think Peetz and Mangus will bring the option back with Max as a running QB?
I think you are overestimating Max's running abilities and Peetz would never run it. But it could probably work in today's game since it becomes difficult to prepare for if you're the only team running it. Still gonna lose to any team that can score 30+ on your D.

It’s as much a troll job as it is to raise a question. I don’t REALLY want the option back. But it’s fun to just joke about.
Also Max is going to be the starter. Period.

It wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. And Max is the starter. Period.

Only if Vince Young finds another year of eligibility and transfers to LSU.

Agree with this, but it has to be a third and long situation.

Really it depends on how fast the RBs are.

Let’s go to triple option wishbone, abandon the forward pass, and let the Boutte block all the time! That would be awesome!

Two things....

One, Brennan is too slow for the option.
Two, I'd rather see both our #1 and #2 RBs in the backfield on a few plays.

Bold of you to assume Brennan is the starting QB.

We’ve had the read option in the playbook since 2018.

Being a full on option offense? WTF would we do that?

The option was only popular because of NCAAF video games. they dont exist anymore and everyone realized its dumb af to try it in real life
