The man has taken a bunch that couldnt stop anything the first few weeks into a top defense by end of year. Les and ---fill in offense cord has done nothing from start to finish minus last year for like 7 years. Offensive talent especially at QB just never improves Some players even get worse from there freshman to senior year. All the offensive talent LSU has in the pros at the skill positions and most were average at LSU.

Yep, and he's also the one willing to make adjustments. Notice how the defense has improved consistently since the Auburn game.

Well that's not really true, but this

sucks, and I agree. It's bizarre to me.

Chavis has free reign with his defense. He doesn't have anyone meddling with him. Les has said that many times..."Chief is in control of the defense."

Yeah, the rant has retroactively decided that our offense was "average" or "pedestrian at best" last year. Don't ask questions.

I wouldn't say this. We develop other positions, just not QB.

And yet Miles keeps giving him 4th quarter leads and Chavis keeps blowing them.

It was very good by LSU standards. The passing offense was ranked 43rd in the country. However, LSU is a running team...

Chavis has lost or almost lost a lot of games within the last 2 minutes...

My point is these guys were here 3 years and they had one great year. With the right coaching and offense they could have had 2 to 3.

He was the reason LSU was in those games to begin with

The defense has really shined this year, but the victory (NOT prevent) scheme costs wins, mainly because the offense is so pathetic all the time.

UGA and Bama last year?

I know last year was more of an anomaly for the defense, but Chavis has his faults

Your Missing the point if LSU had any offense at all then the Defense wouldnt be losing those last minute games. The only reason we were in those game was the defense. That can be said for the last 6 or 7 years.

Yep, holding top ten teams to 250 total yds, giving up around 2 scores and having to deal with lopsided TOP is HIS fault we lost.

You Milesinistas are fricking retarded.

Cam can develop players (Mettenberger, Landry, and Beckham) but Les won't let him a lot of the times. Chavis is not the only one who can develop players

you're such a woman

I never placed the total blame on Chavis. And I can name several games from last year where the offense kept us in the game, not the defense.
