Bama had trouble moving the ball the entire night until they were able to do so quickly during the last 50 seconds. One big reason is that they spread the field. It's frustrating to not know what the Tigers could have accomplished doing the same thing like the end of the Miss State game. Seems like with CLM, this playing philosophy is save for last resort tactics.

What about squib kicking it? Stupidest play in football, and it is Miles favorite late game kicking approach.

We went to the prevent defense also. CB's were playing 10-12 yards off. Giving them everything underneath.

Defense went into soft coverage just like in 2012 that cost us the game.

Saban made the comment last year in an interview he knew what we were going to do.

Miles knowing this did it again...same result

Flash backs to 2012. Let them spread the field and march down basically uncontested. Giving them that field position didn't help.

I thought Miles said he told him to kick it out the end zone in his press conference...

I know you normally take Defense first in OT. But this particular time I thought we should have went on O first based on what happened in the last 50sec. Seems like we were shell shocked after the drive and then to go right back out there.

Anyways

In 2016, we'll hold them to hardly any yards in the 2nd half, get a small lead with a minute to go, then have our corners play soft and allow them to march down field and score again. I feel stupid for getting my hopes up after the fumble Saturday night.

Shea's tweet, "Interesting. Miles said the kickoff call was to boot it out of the endzone. Wasn't a squib. Domingue simply kicked it out of bounds."

Just saying...

What does that have to do with the last game?

How many times have games been lost or tied with 2 minutes or less under chavis? It seems to happen far too often.

I think his point was that Miles has thrown kids under the bus before?

If Mills wrecks Sims on that 3rd down, it was ball game. He was not far off, perfectly timed.

This^^^^^^^^^^^^

We moved our DBs off the LOS and went into some type of Cover Zone. That's exactly how we lost to them in 2012.

He missed the kick. He was supposed to kick it out of the back of the endzone. It was just a mistake at a very bad time.
