Who cares? It was foolhardy to think we could induce a coach who is already set up for success where he is into the toughest division in CFB for anything less than a windfall. And then we'd have to hope that his current employer didn't counter. A successful coach leaving one school for another of similar prestige is a pretty rare occurance.
