When you look out on that floor, There is one player that may make an NBA roster. (Watford) he’s a true freshman. We lost Reid and waters. We don’t have anyone as good as them. (One wasn’t drafted and the other was a second round pick)

We need to add more players to the existing roster, big man/shot blocker, a wing who can hit the three, and a good perimeter defender. Then we will be an sec contender again.

You're not wrong. They were a little bigger almost at every position and quicker. And a decent amount better collectively.

Give me a KBB type player on this team and the loss column drops significantly. 6'11" run the floor, protect the rim, grab boards, 110% hustle 100% of the time.

I agree! Its surprising that we have remained competitive with the difference in talent between Ky and LSU. We are one rim protector away from winning it all.

It’s coming. Hate to always say this but we had it until Alleva stepped in and suspended wade. One went to Oregon and then the sharp shooter went to Memphis. However we have the top 10 class coming and that doesn’t include two highly former 4 stars transferring in. We good and we still will make the tourney

We need defenders! We scored plenty but we can not stop them. Surely scoring 90 points (Vandy) is enough to win?

This is the correct answer. There's a reason why teams like Kentucky/Duke/Kansas are at or near the top of CBB. The recruit in a way that keeps them from having glaring weaknesses like the ones we have. You'll have teams that pop in and out of greatness but recruiting is key to sustainability.

That said...I think Wade is getting us there. He simply doesn't have the horses this year. We can't expect SEC championships until we have sustained top-10 recruiting classes.

Agree completely! Hopefully no more NCAA investigations/violations that will hurt/dampen the process of "getting us there".

EW with 5 pts last night didn't help. And Javonte is hot garbage and highly overrated.

Yep, say what you want about this team but we are one rim protector and a true PG away from having a really good team!

Richards was a huge advantage for them. Completely shut down all interior game, somewhere around 10 blocks, got away with a few flops, etc.

This really impacted any drive penetration or interior moves by Wotford off the dribble or anybody else.

UK got away with a lot of hacking also. LSU got away with a couple fouls, but UK got a ton of no-calls under the basket after whacking our guys.

Javonte is fine when he’s not the primary ball handler. He’s playing out of position.

I would not say this about Smart. He had some nice play, I wish he could dish it off when driving and trying a lay up against a big that has swatted balls all night.

There was little adjustment to counter Richard's plugging the lane.

WW has no bench to go to.
When he hast to substitute it is truly cringe worthy.

This place is ridiculous. There’s talent on the roster. They have lost close games and a couple to teams they should have beat. This is basketball not football. Expectations aren’t to go undefeated.

Smart takes way too many stupid shots, and is constantly picked on defense.
