A few weeks before the season began, a friend of mine from out of state asked how we manage to get so many people to turn out for our homes games. he remarked that even for non-conference games, we end up with a real gate number of 80K+ and for SEC games we hot around 100K. My reply was that we build our lives around home games. We schedule weddings on bye-weeks, we schedule out of town trips on away games, and so on and so on.

My point was, when we see that home game schedule....it comes first and we work around that.

This is why I think everyone needs to chill about attendance today. There have been plans made.....long standing plans....trips, weddings, events, etc. Folks from out of town who come to games really have to plan that.

Had this game ben added to the schedule a few weeks ago, then yes....I think people would've had more time to move life around. All this being said, the 40K of us who will be there today need to give our all to support LSU.....stick around the entire game, please.
