You don't get what he's suggesting, they chant STTDB during and only during the piped in music and not while the band is playing. All band songs get reinstated and piped in music gets banned.
Pro sports are overproduced these days. I guess it sells, but it cheeses up the sport to play jock rock and other piped music, especially during play like in NBA games. It feels more like a rock concert than a sporting event.
They'll never get rid of marching bands though, so we hopefully won't go 100% piped music any time.

WTF is the obsession with chanting that ever? WTF is wrong with anyone even considering defending the chant. It's not close to being funny.
I can't believe the entire stadium doesn't boo the students every time it happens. what a great song and great at.osphere it creates to have it taken away by ignorance.
If Bama or Tennessee were to do this, I could understand the ignorance..Do you realize what we would say about those schools if it were them?
Les is successful in recruiting because parents trust him as a person with their kids. He shouldn't stand for this! I can't believe he hasn't made a public comment directed at the students over this.

After that music video the crowd wad fired up and electric and the team seemed to come alive and quickly scored after a great kickoff return. Not saying that the music inspired the team/crowd, but it sure made the game more fun.
Yes that was a hype video from lesmiles.com and OBJ went crazy on that return

I remember being in the student section when they began the STTDB chant. I have never understood it and it doesn't even flow with the song. Why and how did it ever get embraced?

I also agree 100% with statement and can't stand the piped in crap that they play. I want more of Tiger Band playing and not just the same old ,same old junk that is played at every other stadium in the country !
