Post 2007 LSU football has become this hype machine and a pressure cooker. Rightfully so, because for many of our "fans", we are only known as a team that won two championships in 5 years and want to repeat that feat often. Personally, this has killed the joy of watching LSU football.
For one, I'm glad that this loss happened the first game of the season instead of crumbling towards the end. I don't know about y'all...but, this loss puts things in perspective for me and I can actually enjoy the rest of the games with absolutely no pressure. I hope the same goes for the players and coaches too.
Breathe in...breathe out.

Knowing this won't be the ZOMG BEST UNDEFEATED LSU TEAM EVAR squad we were expecting, I, too, will enjoy the games a lot more this season.

Funny, the hype hasn't seemed to do any damage to Alabama whatsoever. Hell, people are begging for them to finally "be down"

CLM has sucked the joy out of watching LSU. Even when we win, it's ugly because all we are able to do is out-talent other teams. LSU has been winning games in spite of their coaching staff, not because of it.
