Sure wish I could have witnessed it in person. Born a little bit too late. I get chills every time I walk in the cow palace and visualise it in my mind. I'm kinda glad they never modernized the place.

I never got to see Pete play live when he was in college,

but a few years later for my birthday, I went to the Superdome with my mom and dad and saw the Jazz beat the Lakers...Pistol vs Kareem (or as my dad said Ko-reem)

I think my mother still has the ticket stubs...was a hell of a game and we set the NBA single game attendance record that night!!!!!

Everyone wore Converse back then. the only options were high top/low top and black or white. If I am not mistaken, Joe Dean was a Converse salesman to college teams at the time.

We have a handful of the greatest players of all time. I know it's a "football school," but how are we not a traditional powerhouse?

Don't leave off Chris Jackson just because he changed his name and religion and made a stupid comment or two. Jackson had it all. His between the legs pull up three is still being emulated to this day. Fantastic ball control, could dunk at six feet, great shooter and although not known for them could make great passes also.

Have to put CJ behind Pete. Dude was amazing to watch. I would love to see him play in today's NBA. Trade places in time with Curry and put him on the warriors. Would be fun to watch his skill set in today's game.

LSU has had 4 all time players. That's why when your starting five vs our starting 5 comes up, LSU is always up for one of the best. If they had one more great player I don't think it would even be close.
