It's been an interesting few months for Les. But it says a lot about the guy that he was able to land this monster of a class. But because of this epic class, expectations are immediately a notch higher... Whether that's realistic or not. That being said, what will it take for Les to keep rolling after next season? My thoughts are that if any 2 of the following 3 things happen, he's good. 1)Win 10 games 2) Win the West 3) Beat Bama (I'd add a 4th item in "making playoffs", but if we do that the odds are that we've done AT LEAST 2 of those 3) Thoughts?

If we do #s 2 & 3, we've done #1 as well !

Good first post...

I'll take 2 and 3 for 1000 Alex.

Same here but it's a virtual given you achieve 1 as well if you land 2 and 3. 4 is never a given in that scenario since you've got to knock off another good team in the SECCG but I'd like the chances if 1, 2 & 3 are checked off.

Typing down 4 goals that our fan base wants doesn't mean they will happen.

Les is a good guy, and we should be the most experienced team in the SEC next year, but that still doesn't help our predictable Les Miles offense. Clemson, Bama, Ole miss, Ohio state know what we are going to run and they have the athletes to stop us. This is just the honest to God truth that few fans want to deal with.

Pretty sure this isn't why les miles makes what he does at LSU.

Gets paid to win championships.
It's time for the guy to deliver again.
This 3rd place in the west thing ain't working.

I think he has to win the whole frickin thing... if he doesnt he should be fired... period... end of story

bullshite... The talent is there, But its takes a lot to win the whole thing.. ALOT OF LUCK is involved....I think we beat Bama next year.... Just a gut feeling... We will also lose a game we should win... 10-2 sounds about right and Les will continue to be the coach until he wants to leave... The only way he gets canned is if he has another November like this past year and finishes with 5 losses... But AGAIN who you gonna bring in that will do better??????

And let's not forget if Miles doesn't win the West in 16 he has pissed away one of the greatest talents this state has ever produced.

I agree and if you read the rest of my post I said les's offense is too predictable to beat the really good teams in college football these days.

He's leaving on his own at the end of the season. Bank it.

With the talent he has brought in year after year Les has underachieved.
