Lester Studthorpe is 3 games ahead of the competition and years before his time as an offensive coordinator. He slow plays his hand and wins the smaller pots until the big, important pot is before him and then he uses all of the cards at his dispolsal. He sees past the gimmicky styles and understands how to mesh a dominant running game with a selective passing game predicated on taking what the defence doesn't try to take away while wearing their asses out and having his way in the fourth quarter. It requires big, strong, athletic running backs which Louisiana produces like Mississippi produces high school dropouts. But you must have tall, fast and sure-handed (?) wide receivers and a quarterback who can get the ball to them and manage the game like Flynn.
