I don't know if there really is one

Bama isn't far from New Orleans. This isn't like OU or OSU

LSU fans might outnumber them but not by much

I'm sure it's been discussed already but I didn't see it in the search

I put a little more value in the 'Les Miles with a month to prepare' advantage...although I'm sure we'll hear again how that is really an advantage for Saban, plus the whole double-revenge game factor.

Speed on the carpet works to our advantage.

if they are going to call this a home game for us, as im sure they will, we deserve a 85/15% split of the tix

This. We were faster than Bama on the turf. That will be accentuated in the Dome.

Plus, it won't be 95% Bama fans. Even a 50-50 split helps us.

And, Les has a month to prepare. I like our chances.

If King Fish was still alive he would have put in Astro Turf.

60-40 advantage at least. wouldn't be surprised to be a bit more. them being close has really zero effect on attendance. the tickets are in the hands mainly of LSU people.

I would have to imagine the tickets that don't go through the schools are going to be more accessible to LSU fans than bama fans.

Fellows, Don't know if y'all realize this, but bama travels! Also, we have played in so many Sugar Bowls that the Superdome is our home away from home!

Utah game in the Sugar Bowl a couple years ago wasn't even a sellout.

It won't be a pleasant visit for Gump fans in LSU's backyard for THE game.

In the past 20 years, you've played in ONE and got blown out by a Mountain West team

congrats

It's not the advantage we have, it's the advantage they don't have this go around. Not in BDS. not a stadium full of screaming retards. We took care of them without all that. Now they come to our 2nd house up the road. We should be about 60-40

False. They beat Miami in New Orleans for their title.

So not only did Bama outplay LSU the first time. Now the Superdome is in Alabama?

This was told to me by a ticket broker who is also a huge Bama fan. It's not about travelling well, but about who gets the tickets from the Sugar Bowl.

25% of the tickets are guaranteed to each school. The other 50% is divided between Sugar Bowl season ticket holders, local vendors, and other groups, most of which reside in an around the city in which the game is played.

We will have the fan advantage. But

Will be a big advantage too. Plus I trust the shite out of Miles to gameplan for a game like this.
