It's beyond me, too. I have certainly seen lots of people who want to "lock up Louisiana for LSU." That wouldn't work. The best players that LSU has ever had were MAINLY from other places. (Bob Petit was from BR., but not Pete, Shaq, Chris Jackson, John Williams, etc.)
Johnny Jones has not said that he won't recruit the top players, whereever they live.
