He seems to realize that empowerment of his assistants is the way to geaux. He cited this as his big change between Ole Miss and USCw.

The question is, how fast can he think in time management situations, and can he really stay our of his assistants business?

How does that work? How will that person know when the offense needs to call a timeout to look at something?

I'm more than sure the "time manager" won't be the only person with the power to call a timeout. We just need somebody with a headset who can just manage the clock, it's not that hard. Pass along critical info like stress to the players when to get out of bounds, when to stay in bounds, when to hustle to the line, when to clock the ball, when NOT to clock the ball, etc.
