it's nitpicking for sure in the grand view of the game

but some of the calls were a bit absurd

only LSU fan would bitch about the refs when ORG had 12 penalties for 95 yards compared to our 5 for 47. Ridiculous

When you miss calls, you miss calls. The number of penalties one team has, has nothing to do with blown calls. Whether that team had 0 penalties or 20 penalties, those calls were ridiculous not this thread. Nice try.

4) **Late addition** - The Loston unsportsmanlike conduct call. Not real sure about that one. It looked to me that had he made contact it could have been a call but, it seemed he whiffed on the hit. Dont forget this happened on 3rd down and led to a Ducks TD.

You can't launch yourself at a WR's head like that.

It was a stupid play by Loston on a HUGE play in the game. That play alone would force me to question if Loston is ready to play meaningful snaps.

I would agree that he shouldnt have launched himself at the player. IF, IF, IF, he would have made contact, thats an easy 15 yd penalty. But he missed the player all together. So regardless of his intention its not a foul.

As for maturity, I like his attacking demeanor but you are right he has to pull back some of that aggression and play smart football.

As for not being ready to play meaningful snaps, I think thats a bit of a stretch. Hell, NFL Pro Bowlers launch themselves at WRs all season long. Its one play, he just needs to play a little smarter when it comes to those sort of hits
